Education Qualification:

Candidates must have completed Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution.
Limitation of Age:

Age of the applying contenders should not be less than 25 years and not be more than 34 years as on 01 January 2016 (Candidates born between 01 Jan 1982 and 01 Jan 1991).
Scale of Pay:

The Junior Commissioned Officer (RT) will be placed at the minimum pay scale of Rs. 9, 300- 34, 800/- which will be offered by the organization.
Mode of Appointment:
  • The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in written examination and interview which will be conducted by the Indian Army.
  • The list of finally selected candidates will be displayed at their respective HQ Recruiting Zones by 04th May 2016.
  • Written examination will comprise of two papers as follow:
Paper- I (Maximum Marks - 100):
This paper will contain objective type questions on general awareness and will be common to candidates of all Religious denominations. Pass marks 40%.

Paper-I is only a qualifying exam. Marks not considered for preparation of merit list for appearing in the interview.
Paper- II (Maximum Marks - 100):
  • This paper will contain objective question to check the knowledge specific to particular religious denomination to which the candidate belongs. In paper II aspirants are required to secure a minimum of 40 marks out of total 100 marks and come in the merit list to be eligible for appearing in the interview.
  • The number of contenders to be called for interview will be 3 (three) times the number of vacancies. Only those candidates who come in the merit will be interviewed by a board of officers at the nominated Regimental Centre.
